The Florida Association of Teacher Educators (FATE) is pleased to extend an invitation for our Annual Conference to be held at Southeastern University, Lakeland, FL on Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th.

The Florida Association of Teacher Educators (FATE), and its parent organization ATE, have held a long history of supporting education and teacher professional development. We know this past year marked a return to the classroom for many educators, that is reflective of a redefined understanding of teaching, learning, recruitment, and more.
We have re-conceptualized, embraced, and applied innovative methods to accomplish our mission as educators. We invite you to share your experiences during FATE’s Annual Conference, in an effort to help ground teacher education in innovation!

Work Group: Powering Up for 2027: A Working Session on New FEAPS/Course Requirements
2 hour Session · Powering Up Partnerships & Charging Stations, lunch is included, $15 fee
Join district and university colleagues to unpack Florida’s new FEAPS standards and course requirements ahead of 2027 implementation. Through guided breakout discussions, participants will identify shared challenges and co-develop practical strategies around curriculum alignment, mentoring and clinical experiences, and district-university partnerships.
This session will be available during the conference.
We invite proposals for presentations outside of this working session that support the new Powering Up for 2027: Responding to Florida HB 875 strand

Conference Registration Fees (includes 1 year FATE Membership and Lunch on Saturday):
$175 – Regular Professional Early Registration
$195 – Regular Professional Late Registration (begins October 21)
$90 – PK Educator
$50 – Student
$75 – Retired Participant
$15 – Additional fee for the Friday FEAPs/UCCs work group (lunch during workshop included)
